Addressing a range of Audiences
through Social Media Marketing
We 'Interior Designers' often have limited time for online
marketing. Working seemingly around the clock to design spaces, meeting with
clients, site management, material procurement with quality check and to
oversee contractors; Ufff!! Hardly do we find our time for making a visibility
on the Social Media Platforms.
Social media marketing is obtained by the use
of various social media platforms and websites which are
available to promote the services of Design and Consultancy.
But in today's world design firms address a range of
audiences through social media marketing including current and potential high
end clients, current and potential employees, architects, interior
designers, and the general public. On a strategic level, social media marketing
includes the management of the implementation of a marketing
campaign, governance, or setting the scope and the establishment of a
firm's desired social media "culture" and "tone".
To use social media effectively, firms should learn to allow
customers and Internet users to post user-generated content, also known as
"earned media". Social media marketing is also used by Interior
Designers in order to build relationships of trust with clients. To this aim,
firms personally try to specifically handle these social media interactions.
Handling these interactions in a satisfactory manner can result in an increase
of client trust. To both this aim and to fix the public's perception of a
designing firm, 3 steps are taken in order to address clients concerns,
identifying the extent of the social chatter, engaging the influencers to help
understand the design style, and developing a proportional response with
respect to the current pattern.
Many creative individuals are intimidated by web technology.
But trust me, none of this is rocket science. “Do-it-yourselfers” can perform
many of these tips for themselves.
Social Media Marketing is similar to interior design in some
ways — elements can be placed within a space, but if placed optimally they work
together better and make the space both functional and simultaneously more
attractive. As with an interior space, if a company’s online presence isn’t
optimal, it’s less attractive to visitors.
So Before you start your social media campaign, you need to
figure out what your marketing goals are on social media.
Since Social media is a dynamic tool, and can do a lot to
help interior designers meet their goals, like:
1.Increase brand awareness
2. Establish credibility and trust
3. Connect with your audience
4. Find new leads
5. Drive audiences with your Design Styles
Pick the ones that make the most sense for your credibility
and keep them in mind moving forward to grasp the audience attraction..
