Home Should Make you Happy..

Home Should Make you Happy..

Next time you are about to walk through the front door to your home; Take a pause. Just think of your eyelids as a soothing sweeper that washes away your thoughts with every long, hard blink.

Once you have emptied your mind of thought and reached a state of calm and full awareness, open your door, take one complete walk through of your home, and look at everything around you. Take everything in and just observe. When you are done, you should have the answer to the following question:

How does your home make you feel?

If that question resonates with you in some way, and you care about keeping in good spirits, then you owe it to yourself to take a few simple actions.
With that in mind, it's extremely important to make sure that your home is designed in a manner that makes you look forward to returning each and every day. Ideally, it should be a Welcoming, cheerful and warm place that evokes a sense of well-being and comfort.

To get you started, here are TEN ways to create an ideal happy home:

1. Decorate your space with items that reflect your identity.
If you have a great wall art or a painting that you bought few years ago that you still love, don’t give it away. Place it in the space you use most or on a wall where you engage all time so you can look at it and remember why you love it.

2. Get some neutral tones on larger furniture pieces.
Get some good quality, neutral pieces that will stand out in your decor.
Jump on board with new trends and colors by adding elements of the latest trend to your neutral base. Take advantage of pillows, throws, lampshades, or dining chair seats, all of which can be easily changed out.

3. Give attention to beautiful lighting.
Use lighting to highlight areas you most want to see. Consider spotlighting a picture you love or creating a cozy reading nook with a dimming decorative hanging light.

4. Bring in mirrors to elongate and brighten a space.
Mirrors work wonders to make a space feel larger and brighter. Try allowing light to reflect off them to create a brighter space.

5. Let in the natural sunlight.
Use natural light whenever possible, have windows with large spans. Direct sunlight plays an interesting role in bringing life to your space. Also take care when exposing fabrics or wood furniture to the elements.

6. Create spaces that are conducive to conversation.
Pay attention to seating arrangements. Place furniture in a way that allows people to see one another, so they’re more likely to open up and communicate.

7. Bring the outdoors in.
Add greenery and planters, like the ones that can be kept inside to improve great air supply and also de-stress your home. Choose colors of flowers that say how you want to feel when you are at home.

8. Get rid of that thing you hate:
You know exactly what it is. That thing that's been bugging you ever since you moved in, but it's been around long enough that now you've given up and gotten used to it. Don't settle. Fix it. Whatever it is. You'll breathe a sigh of relief every single time you see it.

9. Introduce a lovely scent into your home.
Smells have a strong impact on your disposition.Try selecting design objects that integrate the scent and spread it your around your space for a relaxing feel as well as a wonderful smell. Lavender, for instance, is known as a calming and relaxing herb and has frequently been used for insomnia, anxiety, depression and natural stress relief.

10. Maintain a clean and organized home.
Last but utmost the important one. Neatness gives a strong sense of structure and order. If your day has been chaotic, returning to a neat and clean place can put things in reverse.
Returning to a clean home is like returning home to a clean slate - it is a fresh start, like leaving the day's chaos behind. In so far as the overall design of your home is concerned; implementing the idea that "less is more" is ideal.
Simplicity is key. Be okay with a space that looks “lived in.”
If you’d like your family and visitors to feel comfortable in your home, allow them to be comfortable. Everyone wants a warm and welcoming home, a place where they can feel good about themselves...

Addressing a range of Audiences through Social Media Marketing

We 'Interior Designers' often have limited time for online marketing. Working seemingly around the clock to design spaces, meeting with clients, site management, material procurement with quality check and to oversee contractors; Ufff!! Hardly do we find our time for making a visibility on the Social Media Platforms.
Social media marketing is obtained by the use of various social media platforms and websites which are available to promote the services of Design and Consultancy.
But in today's world design firms address a range of audiences through social media marketing including current and potential high end clients, current and potential employees, architects, interior designers, and the general public. On a strategic level, social media marketing includes the management of the implementation of a marketing campaign, governance, or setting the scope and the establishment of a firm's desired social medi…

Interior design is all about designing and execution, it also makes you feel blissful in your environments. Design can change your mood through color, texture, light, scent, and sound. Home designed for all these aspects shows us how an environment can best be designed to evoke a positive instinctive reaction from anyone experiencing that space. Another important element of interior design where it is necessary to take infinite pains is details. When designing or decorating a home it’s always key point to pay attention to small details. Of course, the other elements like the color scheme or some particular theme or the chique furniture are also important but it’s mainly the minute details that make the difference between a fun home and a boring one. When we say small or little details it doesn’t necessarily refer to the actual size of the objects. Such detail can also consist in the texture or color. Colors have a definite impact on the atmosphere that you want to create when doing inte…

Accessorizing is really an art, nothing adds more elegance to your space like accessorizing does. It can be defined as the soul of our home decor, which can easily break or make the room.   Accessories can be a narrator when everything is displayed in a manner. It can narrate a whole lot about your lifestyle and even your personality. Whether you owe an old accent decor sculpture or you buy a fancy piece of art, there is an apt way to expose your accessories. But quite often they are neglected or simply ignored!   Accessorizing is not only about decorating your space with few cushions, a rug or coffee table. A pictorial wall could be an eye-catching point for a huge wall or a blank space, this could be achieved by adding some highlighter frames in middle of the entire art-work, to create a pop-up effect along with the rhythm. The key to a sinful accessorizing skill is doing what feels natural to you, with a belief to harmonize your space.  Well, Interior Design experts can help you sh…
